The 2022 Nissan LEAF

One of the pioneers of the electric vehicle industry is Nissan. The original LEAF was the first widely available electric vehicle in the world. Fast forward to 2022 and meet the newest version of the LEAF- packed with new hardware, more conventional styling and greater range, all at a lower price than its predecessor.

We invite you to meet the 2022 LEAF at Go Nissan South in Edmonton to experience affordable, electrified driving. Visit us anytime to explore the 2022 LEAF or to get behind the wheel for a fun test drive.

For 2022, Nissan has boosted the newest LEAF's abilities, improving it in every direction. The company has increased the car's power and upgraded the batteries on basic trims to 40 kWh and 60 kWh on higher-end models.

We all know that range anxiety is one of the issues with electric vehicles. Nissan has put drivers' minds at ease with the 2022 model. It offers a range of up to 342 km per charge- enough to handle the needs of commuters or weekend day-trippers everywhere. This extended range parks the LEAF solidly between cheap compliance electric vehicles and the expensive hotshots. Long-range electric vehicles tend to cost more than their shorter-range cousins, but Nissan has simultaneously increased the range and reduced the price of its 2022 LEAF.

The motor kicks out 147 horsepower- not too shabby for an electric; and offers instant acceleration. The suspension has been upgraded for a smoother ride too.

Charging is quick and made easy via your choice of a 120-volt or a 240-volt power outlet.

Three variants of the 2022 LEAF are available. All come standard with large touch screens, automated emergency braking, daytime running lights and LED head and taillights. All versions are 4-door cars with five seats- the rear folds down in a 60-40 split. Each has a standard quick charge port, rear-view monitor, heated seats & steering wheel, and Nissan's Intelligent Emergency Braking and e-Pedal systems with regenerative braking.

Upgraded models offer more semi-autonomous driving options such as ProPilot Assist radar-adaptive cruise control, camera-based self-steering, lane-keeping assist & lane-departure warning. The car also produces hard-to-miss warnings to rouse sleepy or inalert drivers or even bring the vehicle to a safe stop on its own. The systems help to keep the car centred in its lane or to follow the driver ahead at a consistent distance.

With an improved driving range, modernized styling, sharp semi-autonomous tech and a lower price, it's time to experience an electric vehicle for yourself. Schedule a test drive at Go Nissan South, conveniently located in Edmonton and try one out.
